About Kent Ramblers
Kent is the fifth largest of the Ramblers' sixty or so Areas. Within Kent Area we have thirteen Groups that organise varied walking and social programmes and support our work to safeguard the interests of walkers in Kent. We hope that all walkers will consider joining the Ramblers either to walk with our Groups or just to support the work we do for the benefit of everyone who walks in the wonderful Kent countryside. Two of our Groups, East Kent and West Kent, are for people in the 20s to 40s age range. Our other eleven Groups are organised on a geographical basis. However, you can be allocated to whichever Group you choose, irrespective of where you live; and anyway as a member you can walk with any Group at any time. Groups organise walks both within and outside the territories they cover.
